VILLAGE OF EPHRAIM WASTEWATER COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES  
THURSDAY APRIL 28TH, 2011 – 9:00 A.M.
VILLAGE OF EPHRAIM OFFICES, NORWAY AND HIGHWAY Q
 
Members Present:  Chair Karen McMurtry, Joan Fitzpatrick, Gary Kiracofe, Marc Paulson, Dave Alberts – WW
Supervisor, and Charity Buhr – Administrator/Clerk.
Members Absent:  Tim Nelson
 
1. Call to order
Chair McMurtry called meeting to order at 9:01 AM.
 
2. Changes in agenda  
None at this time.
 
3. Previous minutes: March 31, 2011
Page 2 REU rate discussion change 1.2 to .5 REUs.   
Buhr mentioned continuing discussion on REUs as we compare with neighboring municipalities systems
next month.
Buhr was not present at the last meeting.
 
Paulson moved, seconded by McMurtry to approve the March 31, 2011 Wastewater Committee meeting
minutes as amended.  Motion passed unanimously.
 
4. Visitors’ comments
None at this time.
 
5. Plant Manager’s report
See attached report.
 
McMurtry moved, seconded by Kiracofe to recommend to the Village Board approval of the May plant
manager’s report.  Motion passed unanimously.
 
6. Next meeting date
Thursday, June 2, 2011 at 9:00 AM
 
7. Adjournment
McMurtry moved, seconded by Fitzpatrick to adjourn at 9:37 AM.  Motion passed unanimously.
